Torgeir Byrknes, better known by his stage name ‘Teebee’, is a Norwegian DJ and  producer of Drum and Bass. He also runs the record label ‘Subtitles Recordings’.  ‘Teebee’ began DJing in 1990 and released his first record in 1996. He won the  ‘Knowledge Magazine’ award for ‘Best International Producer’ in 2001. 

Since then Teebee has worked with labels such as Ram Records, Subtitles Music,  Metalheadz, Certficate 18, Momentum and Photek Productions. 

The first release on Vampire (VAMPDJUK001) featured “Teebee” with the track  entitled ‘SnakeStyle Practice’ ‘Venom 2’.  

This track is still the biggest selling track on vinyl for Vampire. It is a homage to the  “Source Direct” classic “Snake Style” which originally came out in 1995 on Source  Direct Recordings.  

“Snakestyle” the original featured recently in DJ Magazines Top 100 Drum and Bass  records of all time!  

This track has had Dj Support from Fabio, Grooverider, Teebee, Goldie, LTJ Bukem,  Doc Scott, Storm, Phil Source, Source Direct, Peshay, Photek and many more.

Teebee also recorded a remix for Vampire when he put his spin on the ‘Grand  Masterz’ track ‘The Dreamer’.  

This was also a homage to the Source Direct track ‘The Crane’ and Photek ‘s track  ‘Ni Ten Ichi Ryu’. It was once again supported by all the big players in the Drum and  Bass scene.
